Adventure Kids
Publix Kids Redesign
Art Direction

Publix challenged us to redesign their portfolio of kids breakfast foods. But turning dated knock-off packaged goods into relevant and unique products couldn’t be done with a simple rebrand. In order to compete with the shelf rivals, we created Adventure Kids, cereals that inspire kids to be curious, adventurous, and confident.

To build a community around our newly established brand we needed to understand the consumer. Millennial parents gravitate towards anything that helps simplify their lives, or makes them a better parent. So, It was no surprise that...

85% prefer educational
entertainment products
for their child

71% use technology
while grocery shopping

Our plan was to create an interactive and multilayered experience that promoted our newly redesigned cereal –Our very own “Edutainment App.” Then we spread the word through various social media outlets, an unheard of ambition for an in-house brand.

Unlock the Adventure

Each cereal box becomes the key to unlock a new Adventure Kids world. When you scan the box with the Publix app an animated world drops open from the box front. Through that animation kids can enter the Adventure Kids mobile experience. Want to see more? Contact me directly to watch the video.
